The L.I.F.E. in Winnebagoland 2002: Local Indicators for Excellence report was designed to provide the community with objective statistical information that could be measured over time. The report identifies local indicators for excellence to monitor trend data and to provide comparisons with state and national benchmarks. The report also identifies community strengths and weaknesses and highlights issues to watch. The geographic focus of coverage is the City of Oshkosh and the Towns of Oshkosh, Algoma, Nekimi and Black Wolf (the immediately adjacent towns) in Wisconsin. The report includes Winnebago County data as part of local level data and county data in some places where municipal data was not readily available. It is the intent to update and revise the L.I.F.E. report every two years, with some continuous updating in the web version. The L.I.F.E.
